VERANDAIR® currently has a dedicated design office with its own engineers and draughtsmen (exceptional for an SME), as well as a manufacturing plant. It has its own range of aluminum profiles created by its in-house R&D department. This enables us to design and manufacture our pergolas to measure. We can offer you a top-quality, Belgian-made product with proven reliability!

From POOL COVER to VERANDAIR®!

1990
The POOL COVER adventure began in June 1990. To start up his new "pool enclosure" manufacturing business Michel LANGE rented a barn as a workshop from his farmer brother, while the garage in the family home served as his head office.
We can imagine that the beginnings are rather timid. In the village, where everyone knows each other, people make fun of Michel and his new fad of making "pool covers" in Belgium. Back then, who in Belgium could boast a private swimming pool? What kind of mess was this mild-mannered "nutcase" going to get himself into again?
2010
POOL COVER was a quick success. In 10 years, orders have multiplied both in Belgium and internationally. Buoyed by its growing success, the company acquired new premises in the Mariembourg business park in the Province of Namur. It established its headquarters and workshops here.
In 2010, the company opted for a complete overhaul of its range and decided to offer its customers a PREMIUM package. As a result, all the components and materials that make up our products are improved to guarantee stronger, longer-lasting structures. Hiring highly skilled workers also opens up new opportunities, such as covering terraces with retractable shelters.
2016
In 2016, the proportion between the number of pool enclosures and the number of terrace enclosures sold was reversed.
2019
By 2019, the POOL COVER name may no longer make sense to customers. The company will henceforth be known as VERANDAIR®. This name has been chosen because it is more in keeping with our terrace-related products.
VERANDAIR® is a contraction of the words "Veranda" and "Air". "Veranda" because the structures installed by the company on terraces are part of this product range. "Air" because these verandas are retractable.
2023
Today, the company has found its cruising speed. Better still, its engines are running at full throttle.

Curious about how our pergolas are built? We invite you to visit our Mariembourg plant by appointment! You’ll be able to observe the meticulous work of our skilled craftsmen and check the quality of the hand-picked materials used.
During your visit, you’ll also be able to observe the efficiency of our state-of-the-art machines. Regularly maintained and checked, they deliver fast, accurate performance, enabling VERANDAIR® to meet delivery times of between 4 and 12 weeks, depending on the period.
